Excellent video, Dan! An inspired choice of song - I love it. And having seen the deer sweatshirt or whatever Matt was wearing, I can see why he was so stoked!

Hey! Congratulations!!
My proxy didn’t make it after all (Ronni of Great Old Broads) but I’ll still be honoring my pledge/per/penguin…
My husband and I did this route in July (a few years back) in just swimsuits and it was cold THEN! Now: as for Dan Ransom… what do you bet we’re NOT related in any recognizable way. Our line came over in the 1600s and went up to Vermont where we stayed until the early 1900s (Boston! big move). Most Ransoms, I understand, went to Connecticut. PS> you have a namesake with my nephew, Daniel Ransom of San Francisco.

Very nice man. Looks COLD. Great choice of music (one of my favorite bands).

Hey Dan – I found myself watching this yet again last night. Wonderful video! Love the editing and great choice of music. 3.5 months later, I think I’ve forgotten about how cold it was and I’m almost ready to go again. Anyone who would choose to do that canyon for New Year’s has to be somewhat “touched”.
