BYU Linebacker David Nixon stops Tulsa wide-out Ryan Bugg for a loss.
Provo, UT
Finally got a crack at some NCAA football this season, with BYU's home opener yesterday against Tulsa. It was a 2:00 pm kick, so some harsh light to start, but then it got overcast and was really pretty nice. That is, until 6 minutes left and the game was suspended due to lightning. Eventually, the game concluded with BYU on top 49-24. Almost looked like the Cougars of old, but the story of the game was the establishment of the run offense. I can't recall the last time I saw BYU run for over 250 yards.
This was also my first time out with the new (used) 400 2.8. Most of these are a 1D mkI with the 400.
